Categories of Data Processed
Depending on how you use our website, we process various categories of personal data: inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact data (e.g. email addresses, phone numbers), content data (e.g. entries in contact forms), usage data (e.g. pages visited, access times), and technical meta/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses).
Categories of Data Subjects
Visitors and users of our website (hereinafter collectively referred to as "users").
Purpose of Processing
We process data in order to provide you with our website and its content, to respond to inquiries submitted via our contact form, to maintain the security of our systems, and in connection with client-related communication.
Relevant Legal Bases
We process personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, e.g. for inquiries about our services), and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. in the secure and stable operation of this website).
Hosting and Server Log Files
When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical data transmitted by your browser (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser and operating system used, referrer URL). This data is processed to ensure smooth operation and to safeguard our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted on a regular basis.
Contacting Us
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, subject and message text) solely to process and respond to your inquiry. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process your inquiry, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
Cookies
Our website generally uses only technically necessary cookies or local storage mechanisms required for the operation of the site. Should cookies be used for analytics or marketing purposes in the future, we will inform you separately and, where required, obtain your consent. You can prevent the storage of cookies through your browser settings; please note that in this case, not all functions of this website may be fully usable.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, a legal obligation exists, you have given your consent, or we have a legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1) GDPR). A transfer of data to countries outside the EU/EEA (third countries) does not currently take place.
Retention Period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purposes, or for as long as statutory retention periods apply (e.g. commercial and tax retention periods of up to 10 years pursuant to Sections 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB)).
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent supervisory authority for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA).
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator.
